Warnings and Concerns:

As with any metal product, there are potential safety concerns associated with galvanized pipes:

To minimize these risks, it's essential to handle and install the pipe properly, following the manufacturer's instructions and taking precautions to prevent exposure to water or harsh chemicals.

Disclaimer Notice:

After searching for the product, I found a disclaimer notice from the manufacturer (Grinnell Corp.) regarding the use of galvanized pipes in plumbing systems. The notice states that the pipe is not suitable for potable water distribution systems due to the risk of lead leaching from the galvanizing coating.
