Novella Artischocke Carciofi

The barcode 8001364110017 is associated with the product "Novella Artischocke" (Italian for "Novella Artichoke"), which appears to be a brand of artichoke-based products, likely canned or jarred artichoke hearts (a common preserved form of artichokes). Here’s what can be inferred:

Product Identification

• Brand/Manufacturer: The prefix "800" suggests this is a German or EU barcode (GTIN-13), often used for food products. The specific brand "Novella" is known for producing preserved vegetables, including artichokes, in Europe. The product is likely artichoke hearts in brine, oil, or tomato sauce, a popular ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Product Form: Given the name and typical usage, this is almost certainly prepared artichoke hearts (not fresh or whole artichokes). These are often sold in jars or cans for cooking.
• Origin: Likely produced in Italy or another EU country, given the brand’s name and the product’s association with Italian cuisine.

Potential Warnings or Concerns

1. Sodium Content:
   • Canned or jarred artichokes are typically preserved in brine (high in sodium) or oil. Consuming them regularly may contribute to high sodium intake, which can be a concern for individuals with hypertension or kidney issues. Always check the label for sodium content per serving.
